DIY Balloon Garlands: 4 Stunning Ways
We love balloon garlands! they are the perfect accent to any party and they create an amazing focus point. But did you know there are several ways to arrange them? Here we'll show you our 4 favorite ways to assemble DIY Balloon Garlands.
TRADITIONAL:
This beautiful way to assemble a balloon garland is the most common, and for good reason! To assemble this garland you need inflate all your balloons (it doesn't have to be exact) and then tie them together in clusters of 2, 3 or even 4! try to mix colors and sizes together and this will give the garland that amazing organic and casual look. Then just loop the fishing line around each cluster and push down to keep them together.
BY COLOR:
Some DIY Balloon Garlands have more than just one color in 2 or more different sizes.
To create this garland style separate the different colors and inflate all your balloons (again, doesn't have to be exact) then you can arrange them clustering colors but mixing in balloons of different sizes. Then follow the same instructions to assemble the garland (clustering and pushing down) and just make sure you use all the balloons in one color before you move to the next.
BY SIZE:
To create this garland you separate the 2 (or 3) different sizes balloons, inflate them and then tie them alternating colors, really mixing it up! To create a more defined shape you can inflate the bigger 11" balloons in 3 sizes: keep some at full size, some a little bit small and some even smaller (you can do the same with the 5 inch) then, again, follow the instructions to assemble the garland making sure you go from the bigger ones to the smallest ones. That way it will create a very defined shape that looks great as a framing element: smaller on top and bigger on the bottom or vice versa.
BY COLOR & SIZE:
This garland styles looks and feels more formal as it is more detailed.
To do it you separate the sizes (just like in the previous one) and the inflate them. When assembling tie together balloons of the same color and size until you have to switch to the next. Make sure you start with bigger balloons and gradually go smaller (you do this by deflating the bigger balloons into 2 or 3 different sizes, and same with the smaller 5" balloons)
What do you think?? which balloon garland is your favorite? we can´t decide!! although we usually go for the traditional one... what can we say!? they are just so easy and fool proof :P
