PARTY INSPIRATION: HOUSE WARMING

A few weeks ago my husband and I moved into our new house, SO EXCITING! but also kind of messy and tiring... however we worked super hard to get everything ready so that we could invite our friends over for a little house warming party.

We wanted to do something simple but beautiful, neutral but colorful. For decorations we hang a 12ft balloon garland that we decorated with wild flowers. We also added an eucalyptus table runner.

For the food we decided to do a charcuterie board. This is seriously one of the easiest things ever! soon we'll have a step by step tutorial so you can create your own. In the meantime the most important thing you need to know in order to pull off a gorgeous charcuterie board is to fill up the space, use different colored cheeses, add texture with the meats and place interesting items like strawberries, almonds or dried apricots (my favorites!).

We kept it casual and just placed all of the palm plates and napkins from the woodland party Kit in one side of the table for guests to fill them up with goodies.
